Data Warehousing Analyst on GSA STARS II Small Business IDIQ works in a data warehouse environment, which includes data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation. Reviews data loaded into the data warehouse for accuracy. Responsible for the development, maintenance and support of an enterprise data warehouse system and corresponding data marts. Troubleshoots and tunes existing data warehouse applications. Conducts research into new data warehouse applications and determines viability for adoption. Assists in establishing development standards. Evaluates existing subject areas stored in the data warehouse. Incorporates existing subject areas into an enterprise model. Creates new or enhanced components of the data warehouse. Requires two years experience in the field.

Data Warehousing Analyst on GSA STARS II Small Business IDIQ are involved in all aspects of data warehouse development and design and in developing business database solutions. They collect, analyze, test, document, and assist businesses in making use of the information stored in their data warehouses. They are also responsible for designing, building, and supporting database warehouse components. Have bachelor’s degrees in computer science, information resource management or any other related field amongst other certifications. Expert and experienced in data warehouse infrastructure, data warehouse design, data warehouse security, data warehouse technical support, information security, data mining, data warehouse management, data repository, and so on. Have extensive knowledge of relational database theory, data modeling, repository creation, and data architecture. Proficient in database programming languages such as ORACLE, SQL, Postgre-SQL, Transact-SQL, SYBASE, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS); and other relevant computer programming languages such as MySQL, jQuery, Oracle, Java Script, Angular, CSS, HTML 5, Apache, Node.js, Beans, Postgre, Python, C, C++, and so on. Review and troubleshoot existing data warehouse applications and create new and enhanced data warehouse components for greater efficiency. Develop plans to collect all database project work requirements and design and implement an innovative data reporting system. Monitor the effective transition of business requirements into technical specifications. Evaluate all training programs for end users and the business’ data warehousing team. Manage backup recovery operations for all SQL Server, install all SQL server, perform upgrades, provide technical support in implementing and publishing the database, and then analyze and recommend process improvements. Assist departments to prepare data mining operations and develop metadata designs and monitor compliance of all data and warehouse delivery tools to ensure optimum database function.
