Data Warehousing Programmer on GSA STARS II Small Business IDIQ is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the data warehouse structure to meet the analysis and reporting needs of the organization. They provide programming support for the enterprise’s business database needs using the right programming language and technical infrastructural. This position involves presenting big data integration projects and therefore requires the utilization of best practices and implementation experience, as well as effective technical know-how. Have bachelor’s degrees in computer science, information resource management or any other related field, among other certifications. Expert and experienced in data warehouse infrastructure, data warehouse design, data warehouse security, data warehouse technical support, information security, data mining, data warehouse management, data repository, and so on. Have extensive knowledge of relational database theory, data modeling, repository creation, and data architecture. Proficient in database programming languages such as ORACLE, SQL, Postgre-SQL, Transact-SQL, SYBASE, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS); and other relevant computer programming languages such as MySQL, jQuery, Oracle, Java Script, Angular, CSS, HTML 5, Apache, Node.js, Beans, Postgre, Python, C, C++, and so on. Have exceptional experience of developing codes, quality assurance testing, RDBMS management, database monitoring, and dimensional modeling techniques. Have strong analytical, consulting, and communication skills; as well as the ability to make good judgment and work with both technical and business personnel. Knowledgeable about SAS and R code used in data processing and task modeling. Proficient in Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS computing platforms, as well as Hadoop, Impala, Pig, Hive, YARN, and other Big Data technologies. Develop and prepare schedules for the new data warehouse that suit the organization’s needs, including large database analysis and optimization. Design data models and define logical and physical models, managing all requirements and designing different job specifications for data, support for the software development life cycle, analyze various data warehouse objects, prepare custom search query reports for both technical and work teams, prepare various code designs and ensure their effective implementation, evaluate all codes and ensure the quality of all project results, monitor data warehouse work and provide subject matter expertise. Provide support to teams on all technical issues, provide training for all employees of the development team, design and implement various unit tests on the system and prepare test data.
