Have extensive experience with practices and techniques relating to web merchandising or online retailing. Have operational knowledge of techniques required for market research and analysis. Set direction and guide online-action plans and priorities of electronic commerce, marketing, and communications organizations. Develop and facilitate organizational models and structures needed to meet the evolving electronic business strategies. Establish and implement enterprise-wide business systems. Monitor and manage the e-commerce services of established companies with a significant online presence. Manage the decision making for the website, social media accounts, and online advertising. Responsible for researching and developing new online marketing strategies and for recruiting and training of new e-commerce personnel. Determine the format and features of the website to maximize clarity and ease of navigation for customers. Work with the web designers to develop and modify the website as needed and keep the organization’s management abreast of new developments in the world of electronic marketing. Examine the company’s key demographics and how best to reach them to maximize search engine traffic and optimizes the impact of targeted company ad purchases.
