Groupware Specialist on GSA STARS II Small Business IDIQ oversees the development and deployment of a Group’s initiative in the organization, determine work requirements, and the selection of collaborative programs to meet these requirements. They perform both hardware and software troubleshooting and train end users and employees about internet access, document sharing, email handling, and other technical activities. Coordinate with end users and employees to identify areas of needs or areas for improvement in the organization. Ensure that all updates or upgrades are appropriately integrated into existing networks and systems and provide technical support to end users and employees to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Have bachelor’s degrees in computer science and other certifications in related fields. Experienced in configuring, managing and troubleshooting all relevant collaborative systems and applications. Knowledgeable in installing, upgrading, writing, and executing PowerShell scripts, SharePoint and other collaborative applications. Responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of organizational messaging systems. Ensure smooth integration of all groupware systems, provide technical support on local groupware replication and client dial-up access issues. May serve as internal consultant to developers, assisting them in the area of server supports, security, ID files, and other development issues.
