Business Systems Analyst Intermediate on GSA STARS II Small Business IDIQ under general supervision, formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. With this knowledge, develops or modifies moderately complex information systems. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary. Guides and advises less-experienced Business Systems Analysts. Competent to work in some phases of systems analysis and considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.

Business Systems Analyst Intermediate on GSA STARS II Small Business IDIQ review, analyze, and evaluate user needs to create system solutions that support overall business strategies. Document system requirements, specify scope and targets, and create system specifications that drive system development and implementation. Work under the supervision of the Senior Business Systems Analyst and serve as link between the information technology department and the end users. Possess both business and technical expertise. Have degrees in business administration, economics, statistics, marketing or any other relevant certification. Expert and experienced in business analysis, business requirements analysis, data analysis, project management, SQL, Microsoft office, Microsoft SQL Server. Experienced in programming languages such as MySQL, jQuery, Oracle, Java Script, Angular, CSS, HTML, Apache, Node.js, Beans, Postgre, Python, C, C++, and so on. Analyze and define ways to restructure the business to ensure business efficiency and optimum output. Participate in joint application development sessions and meet with developers to define, analyze, and document system needs for staff, clients, and end users. Oversee resource allocation to minimize wastage and optimize profits. Develop and maintain a communication plan for each software development project that can promote business efficiency. Lead teams of IT professionals, recommending the goals and priorities of the working group, defining recruitment requirements, allocating work to team members, and monitoring work quality and timing. Supervise and assess private sector and government employees to ensure that results are met and recommendations are made to the Directors and managements. Play important roles as part of the information technology management team responsible for preparing information systems proposals (including project schedule, data analysis and system design). Provide advisory and technical services, conduct studies, analysis, modeling, design, and prototyping needed to develop, implement, and maintain a variety of systems while ensuring effective and efficient use of computer facilities and providing services to meet business requirements. Advise the senior management on the use of technology to define business needs and promoting business goals.
