Business Systems Specialist on GSA STARS II Small Business IDIQ work with all computer technologies required in a business. They define technological upgrades and installations that will improve workplace efficiency. Assess the technology needs of businesses to determine where improvements can be made to increase efficiency. Look for the needs of the company and help develop systems that benefit them in line with business goals. Have degrees in information systems management, IT security management, computer science, database system management or any other relevant certification. Expert and experienced in systems troubleshooting, technical analysis, systems administration, project management, help desk support, Microsoft office, Microsoft Active Directory, database administration, and so on. Experienced in programming languages such as MySQL, jQuery, Oracle, Java Script, Angular, CSS, HTML, Apache, Node.js, Beans, Postgre, Python, C, C++, and so on. Provide technical support and process improvement for existing and new applications/processes. Assist in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery plans of business systems. Deal with moderate to complex user problems that arise with supported systems and tools, including software, hardware, and data requirements. Maintain business continuity, assessment, business process automation, and annual certification process plans. Collaborate with other IT personnel to develop data models in order to create regular and customized reports and analytical solutions. Critically analyze new and existing technologies in the system, recommend necessary changes in line with organization’s objectives, and perform an in-depth analysis to derive functional requirements based on standard procedures. Collaborate with other technical teams and business users to define business values and technical solutions that will improve business, provide assistance in process improvement activities, develop procedures and policies, manage project transformation, and help them achieve project goals. Plan, estimate, negotiate, manage costs and risks, prepare project plans, identify and solve problems, report project status, and ensure timely delivery of services, commitment to quality and high levels of customer satisfaction.
